Dr. Jyotsna Vohra

Since 2014, Jyotsna has been responsible for establishing, developing and leading the Policy Research Centre for Cancer Prevention (PRCP) within Cancer Research UK.  She has presented both nationally and internationally on the links between obesity and cancer and the benefits of population level policy change.  The PRCP has published a number of reports and peer review papers on behaviours and their links to cancer..

Jyotsna has a bachelors in Microbiology and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Warwick.  Upon completing her PhD She worked for Public Health England, then the Health Protection Agency as a Standard Methods Microbiologist and thereafter as a Science and Research Coordinator with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
