Sara is responsible for producing insightful analyses and improving the research behind Euromonitor International’s Passport Nutrition. Currently much of her work focuses on sugar consumption and content in food and drink, as well as, nutrition-related food and drink fiscal policies, such as sugar taxes.
Sara has been quoted as a nutrition authority in a number of recent articles and radio shows touching on subjects of global and country nutrient consumption and the possible implications on the consumer and the industry.
Sara has completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition at King’s College London, where she focused her research on the relationship of the Mediterranean Diet with cognitive function and dementia. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from King’s College London.
Sara has recently spoken at the 2016 Health Ingredients Europe, on the subject of ‘Developing Free-From Proteins’.
